5 Bold Predictions for the 2024 NFL Playoffs

The NFL Playoffs are here, and now is the time for teams to play their best football. Here are five of my bold predictions for the 2024 NFL Playoffs.

Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers upset the Philadelphia Eagles at home.

My first bold prediction for the playoffs is the Buccaneers upsetting the Eagles at home. This will be a pretty close game and should be relatively low scoring. With the slide the Eagles have been on, I think Tampa will send them packing. Jalen Hurts has been struggling with his injury, and I just don't think they will be able to get their offense going. I have Tampa by 3.

Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins get sent home in the first round

My second bold prediction is that Tua and the Dolphins get sent home in the first round of the playoffs. I know-the Chiefs have not looked great recently. However, Mahomes in the playoffs is a whole different story. I think Miami's defense will be on their heels the whole game, and this will lead to the Chiefs squeaking one out at home.

Josh Allen and the Bills make the AFC Championship

My third bold take is that the Bills make the AFC Championship. I expect the Bills to breeze through the Steelers this weekend, so the real challenge comes in the Divisional Round. I anticipate they will face Mahomes and the Chiefs, and this should be a very interesting matchup. In a very competitive game, I think the Bills will squeak it out and make the AFC Championship.

The Dallas Cowboys make the NFC Championship

My fourth bold prediction is that the Dallas Cowboys make the NFC Championship. This is the year the Dallas Cowboys make it past the divisional round. I do think they will fall just short of the Super Bowl due to the 49ers, but if there is a year they make a championship run, it will be this year. Dak has looked phenomenal this season, and CeeDee Lamb has proven himself as a top 5 receiver.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens win the Super Bowl

My last bold prediction for the NFL playoffs is Lamar Jackson and the Ravens finally making it to the Super Bowl. Lamar is known to struggle in the playoffs, but I believe this is the year he puts it together. An explosive offense combined with the Ravens elite defense should be enough to get them the title.
