5 Fantasy Football Sleepers for the 2024 NFL Season

Preseason is slowly approaching, meaning fantasy football drafts will happen in a few months. Following OTAs, we now have a clearer picture of how players are adapting to new circumstances. Here are five under-the-radar players you should target in your fantasy football draft to give your team an edge.

1. QB Will Levis

My first sleeper is second-year quarterback Will Levis. Levis had his ups and downs last year, but overall, it was a positive first year for the rookie quarterback. After an offseason where Levis got a lot more weapons, including Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, and Tony Pollard, I expect Levis to have a breakout year next season. If you want a quarterback with high upside and league-winning potential, Will Levis is your guy.

2. Kyle Pitts

My second sleeper pick is Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. I know- he's let down fantasy players for the past few seasons. However, I truly believe this is his year. Everything is aligning perfectly for him to have a breakout season. With a new head coach and starting quarterback, Pitts should see significantly more targets. With Kirk Cousins behind center, I expect Kyle Pitts to finish as a top 7 tight end.

3. Dk Metcalf

My third sleeper is Seahawks WR Dk Metcalf. The Seattle Seahawks are going to look significantly different next year. After cleaning out the coaching staff, both the offense and defense need to find new identities. On the offensive side of things, both HC Mike Macdonald and OC Ryan Grubb have stated multiple times that getting DK Metcalf the ball is a priority. Ryan Grubb will find a way to get DK involved in every game, and we all know Geno Smith can DK the rock. Don't be surprised if DK Metcalf finishes as a top 10 receiver and wins some people their leagues.

4. Kyler Murray

My fourth sleeper is Cardinals QB Kyler Murray. Murray is going to be a league winner this year. He is going into the season healthy and looks better than ever. With the new addition of Marvin Harrison Jr. and the emergence of Trey McBride, Kyler is set up to have a phenomenal season. Towards the end of last year, we saw the Cardinals finally get it together. Their offense was clicking, and many of the games were close. I would not be surprised if Kyler finishes as a Top 5 fantasy QB, so don't be scared to slightly reach for him.

5. Ladd McConkey

My fifth sleeper is rookie WR Ladd McConkey. I'm excited about this one. McConkey landed in a great situation for him- a superstar QB and an open WR1 role. McConkey has had an excellent training camp so far, and from what I'm seeing- the WR1 role is his to lose. Herbert and McConkey are already forming a great connection, and I expect McConkey to be Herbert's go-to guy this season. Although the Chargers will be a run-first team, with a superstar like Herbert, Harbaugh will be forced to throw the ball a decent amount. I could see McConkey being a viable FLEX or WR2 option for the upcoming season.

To summarize, Levis, Pitts, Metcalf, Murray, and McConkey are my five fantasy football sleepers for the upcoming season. None of these guys are going to go super high in drafts, but all of them have the potential to finish pretty high in rankings. If you want to give your team a shot at a title, take a risk and draft one of these five players.
