Hypothetical Trade sends Justin Fields to the Seattle Seahawks

Updated: Feb 23, 2023

In a miraculous Hail Mary, the Texans won and gave the Number 1 pick to the Chicago Bears. This year's draft has very talented Quarterbacks, and the Bears could potentially make a move for one at Number 1. If they want to do that, they would have to trade Fields. For the Seahawks, they have a big decision to make with Geno Smith. Geno played very well, but he also had some inconsistent games. If they are hesitant to re-sign him, they could draft one at No.5, or make a trade for a young, talented Quarterback. Fields would be perfect for them. He is a duel-threat Quarterback, and would thrive in a system with great Wide Receivers and a Running Back who can turn nothing into something. So, what would a Seahawks-Bears trade for Fields look like? Here is what I think both teams would be happy with.

Trade Package:

Chicago Bears receive:

2023 First Round Pick(No.5)

2023 Second Round Pick(37)

2024 Second Round Pick

2024 Third Round Pick

Seattle Seahawks Receive:

QB Justin Fields

2023 Fifth Round Pick(136)

This trade would satisy both teams. The Bears can draft a QB at 1, and still potentially get Carter or Andereson at 5. The Seahawks get their franchise Quarterback and can use Pick 20 to help strengthen their D-Line.
