Lions v Packers Preview + X-Factor for Each Team

This week on TNF, the Lions will play the Packers in Green Bay. Both teams are coming off solid wins, and hope to extend their records to 3-1. Here is a preview of the game:

LIONS X- FACTOR: Aiden Hutchinson

Lions

The key for the Lions will be Hutchinson and the pass rush. If they can get to Love, the Packers should have a very low scoring game. The offense will do their thing like they have been for the past few weeks. This will not be a close game if the Lions defense shows up. However, if the Lions leave Love with time in the pocket, he will find a way to dissect this defense.

PACKERS X-FACTOR: A.J. Dillon

Packers

They key for the Packers will be RB AJ Dillon. Jones is injured, so if he plays, he will definitely be playing under a snap count. This will lead to a lot of touches from Dillon. As mentioned before, this Lions pass rush has the potential to completely shut down the passing offense. Love will rely on Dillon in both the running offense and passing offense. The check downs will be very important this game.

THE PICK: Lions

Lions v Packers Prediction

I have the Lions winning this game by 7. I just think Love and the Packers won't be able to keep up with an explosive Lions offense. The Lions pass rush will force the Packers to throw many check downs and short passes. This offense will be very contained. Meanwhile, Goff and the Lions will have a fun day in Green Bay. Goff will be able to find the deep ball and the short ball, and the Packers defense will be very flustered. The Packers will play well in the 4th quarter, but come just short of another comeback.
