We are nearing the end of the first round, and it's still not clear whos going to win it all. There have been many upsets, dissapointments, and blowouts. Who's going to win it all? Here is my pick:
The 76ers have been truly great after they got Harden. Embiid is playing like an MVP and Harden is back to his old form. They also are getting major help in the East. The Heat are up 3-1 on the Bucks, which is very helpful for the 76ers, especially if they can get past the Celtics/Hawks winner. The reason I have them getting past the Celtics/Hawks winner is because of the amount of rest they get. The 76ers will be fully healthy and ready to go after their sweep while the Celtics/Hawks winner will still be recovering. If the Bucks go out, I don't see anyone stopping the 76ers in East. In the West, I have the Golden State Warriors in the finals. They dug themself in a hole, but quickly crawled back out of it. They are looking like a true contender now. Although it is a hard path to the finals, I don't see anyone stopping them. So, the NBA Finals will be the 76ers v the Warriors. The reason I have the 76ers is because of one man: Joel Embiid. Embiid will bully Looney in the paint and the Warriors won't be able to respond. If the 76ers can stay healthy throughout the playoffs, they are my pick to win the 2023 NBA Finals.
