We are now down to the final four teams in the NFL, and we are in for a very competitive week of football. Honestly, these are the most even Conference Championship matchups we've had in a while. I could see both games going either way. However, after doing some deep analysis, I believe I've found the winners for the AFC and NFC Championships.
Winner: Ravens , 34-26
In the AFC Championship, I have the Baltimore Ravens beating the Chiefs to advance to the Super Bowl. This game will be a good one. One thing I've learned from watching football over the past few years is that I should never count out Patrick Mahomes. However, with that said, the 2024 Ravens have been one of the most dominant teams in the past decade. They beat 10 teams with winning records in the regular season. In fact, not only did they beat them, they dominated them. They beat the Lions and 49ers by multiple scores. I believe Mahomes will play well, but I just don't think the Chiefs defense will contain Lamar. With a unique defense and explosive offense, I think the Ravens will advance to the Super Bowl.
Winner: 49ers, 26-23
In the NFC Championship game, I have the 49ers squeaking one out against the Lions to go to the Super Bowl. Just like the AFC Championship, this game will be a good one. I'll be honest- Brock Purdy did NOT look good last week. There were multiple passes that should have been picked, and there were just so many errors on his side of the ball. Despite that, he managed to pull it together in the final minutes and lead a game winning drive. I believe Brock Purdy will find a way to limit his turnovers against the Lions, and this will ultimately lead to the win. However, I will say this- The Lions will definitely capitalize on Purdy's errors. There will not be dropped picks. Or missed fumbles. If Purdy messes up, the Lions will take advantage of it quickly. The key for the 49ers to win is to lead long, sustained drives. For the Lions, they need to force Purdy into bad decisions. Ultimately, I think Purdy will handle the ball well and lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl.
