The Conference Championship is here! There are 4 teams remaining, the 49ers, Bengals, Chiefs, and Eagles. Who is going to make it all the way? I will be predicting the score, listing 1 hot take for the game, and I will also predict the MVP for that game.
I have Joe Burrow and the Bengals beating the Chiefs in a close one and advancing to the Super Bowl. I think Burrow leads a late 4th Quarter touchdown drive and the Chiefs are unable to get a touchdown to respond.
My Hot Take:
Tee Higgins gets two touchdowns. The Chiefs will focus a lot of their attention on Ja'Maar Chase. But, what many people forget, is they have a beast at the WR2 position. Tee Higgins will get a lot of 1v1 opportunities and Joe Burrow will look his way if Ja'Maar is covered.
MVP of the Game: Tee Higgins
If Tee Higgins gets the two touchdowns like I predicted, he is definetely the MVP of this game.
For this game, I have Brock Purdy and the 49ers beating the Eagles to advance to the Super Bowl. Last week, the 49ers squeaked out a close one against the Cowboys. Brock Purdy and the offense had a quiet day against a very good Cowboys defense, but the 49ers defense stepped up shut down Dak and the Cowboys. The key matchup here is going to be Brock Purdy and the offense against the tough Philadelphia defense. I think this will be a lower scoring game, but the 49ers will get a late touchdown to edge out the win.
My Hot Take:
Both Quarterbacks throw an Interception. Last week, Purdy got away with one, when Trevon Diggs dropped an interception in the redzone. But, Philadelphia won't make those mistakes. Both defenses will capitalize on bad throws and each of them will get an interception in this game.
MVP of the Game: Nick Bosa
I think Bosa has a very good day and gets 2+ sacks. The Eagles have a very good O-Line, but I think Bosa gets the better of them and becomes a huge part of the 49ers close win.
