Re-Grading NFL Offseason Trades

This offseason there were some crazy trades. Now, over halfway through the season, I will re-grade these trades.

Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos

Credit to NY Times

Denver Receives: Russell Wilson, 2022 4th round pick

Seattle Receives: Drew Lock, Shelby Harris, Noah Fant, 2022 First Round Pick(Charles Cross), 2023 First Round Pick, 2022 Second Round Pick(Kenneth Walker), 2022 Fifth Round Pick, and 2023 Second Round Pick

Denver Grade: F

Seahawks Grade:A+

The Seahawks got an absolute haul with this trade, and it seems like they already had the better Quarterback. The 2023 First Rounder will be very high and this trade has completely turned around the Seahawks organization. Russell Wilson has not been doing good at all for the Broncos. The Broncos are doing worse than last year and this trade has been horrible for the Broncos.

Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns

Houston Texans receive: Texans will receive a 2022 first-round pick (No. 13 overall), 2023 and 2024 first-round picks, a 2022 fourth-round choice (No. 107), a third-round pick in 2023 and a fourth-round pick in 2024

Cleveland Browns receive: Deshaun Watson, 2024 Sixth Round Pick

Texans Grade: A+

Browns Grade: C+

The Texans traded Deshaun Watson for a huge package. They will use their picks to fix their problems outside of the Quarterback position. Once they use their picks and get a Quarterback, they will be very dangerous.

Deshaun Watson did not play very well in his debut. He had 0 touchdowns and an interception. But, if he turns it around, the Browns have the talent to go to a Super Bowl.

Davante Adams to the Raiders

Packers Receive: 2022 First Round Pick(Quay Walker), 2022 Second Round Pick(Christian Watson)

Raiders Receive: Davante Adams

Raiders Grade: A-

Packers Grade: B-

This trade was not bad for both ends. Davante has made an immediate impact on the Raiders and has put up pretty good numbers. They also didn't have to give much up considering they were getting one of the best receivers in the NFL. The Packers got a stud in Christian Watson, and Quay Walker has also been good. They also freed up a lot of cap space. But, overall, I do think the Raiders won this trade.
