With Atlanta getting their QB in Kirk Cousins, Justin Fields has very limited options if he wants to get a starting job in the future. Here are the 3 most ideal landing spots for him.
HM: Las Vegas Raiders
For my honorable mention, I have the Las Vegas Raiders. The reason I don't have the Raiders higher is simply because I don't trust the system. Fields would have the same OC as he did in Chicago and It would just not work out for him.
3. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings currently have Sam Darnold and Nick Mullens as their rostered Quarterbacks. Yikes. If the Vikings decide to not draft a QB and go for Fields instead, Fields would 100% be the starter. With Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison at WR, Fields would have the receiving core he needs to be elite. This spot would be great for Fields.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
After trading away young QB Kenny Pickett, Russell Wilson is the clear starter for the 2024 season. Justin Fields still has a lot to learn, and sitting behind Russell Wilson for a year could prove to be very beneficial. Fields has all the talent needed to be an elite QB, and the situation in Pittsburgh could be exactly what he needs.
1.New England Patriots
The New England Patriots would be the best case scenario for Justin Fields. With possession of the number three pick, the Patriots could land an elite weapon like Marvin Harrison Jr. With good weapons and a starting role, Fields could thrive in New England. A strong supporting cast and a starting job in New England is exactly what Fields needs to be an elite QB in the NFL.
