The Jaguars had an amazing second half of their season in 2022, and managed to make it to the divisional round with an amazing comeback. In 2023, I'm convinced they'll make it to the AFC Championship. If you haven't seen my Leaking the Script article, go check it out now. The reason I have them this far is because the AFC South is designed for the Jagaurs to dominate it for the next few years. The Titans are starting a rebuild, the Colts don't have a QB, and the Texans still have many gaps to fill. Especially with Calvin Ridley coming back, the Jagaurs offense will be truly elite.
I think they will end up with a 12-5 record, which will be the third seed. From here, they will play the 6th seed, which I think will be the Steelers. Pickett has not played in a playoff game, and the Jaguars should have an easy time getting to the divisional round. In the divisional, they will play the KC Chiefs. Coming off a close win against the Chargers, the Chiefs will be pretty tired. Lawrence and the offense will take advantage of this and kill the Chiefs on the offensive side of the ball. Sadly, their season will be cut short by the red-hot Bengals. I could see the Jagaurs in the Super Bowl, but I think Burrow's experience will ultimately be the X-Factor.
