With Week 15 coming to a close, we have a clearer picture on what the playoffs are going to look like. With 2 weeks left in the NFL Season, here are my predictions for how the playoffs will go down.
AFC Playoff Standings
Kansas City Chiefs
Buffalo Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers
Houston Texans
Baltimore Ravens
Los Angeles Chargers
Indianapolis Colts
NFC Playoff Standings
Detroit Lions
Philadelphia Eagles
Los Angeles Rams
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Minnesota Vikings
Green Bay Packers
Washington Commanders
Wild Card Weekend
Score: Bills Win 34-20
In the first AFC matchup of Wild-Card Weekend, I have the Buffalo Bills winning a commanding game against the Colts. Josh Allen has shown that he is at an MVP level this season, and with a solid rushing attack, the Colts will struggle against the Bills offense.
Score: Steelers Win 17-13
In the second AFC matchup, I have the Steelers getting a gritty win against a surging Chargers team. With an experienced Russell Wilson at the helm this year, the Steelers offense will be more dynamic, leading to a tight win against the Chargers.
Score: Ravens Win 35-20
In the last AFC matchup of Wild Card Weekend, I have the Ravens getting a dominant win in Houston. You can say what you want about Lamar's playoff history, but this is the best offense the Ravens have seen in the Lamar Jackson era. With Derrick Henry killing teams on the ground, I expect the Ravens to cruise past the Texans.
Score: Eagles Win 33-23
In the first NFC Wild Card matchup, I have the Eagles getting the win against rookie QB Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. The Commanders have shown the potential to be an elite team, but the inconsistency on both sides of the ball will come back to bite them come playoff time. For the Eagles, this is the best offense they have had in a while. With Saquon Barkley making his MVP campaign, I expect him to run all over the Commanders' defense.
Score: Packers Win 34-24
In the second NFC matchup of Wild Card Weekend, I have the Packers getting a solid win against Los Angeles Rams. The Packers have been one of the best teams in the NFC, but unfortunately are in the best division in football, placing them at #6 in the conference. With elite talent on both sides of the ball, I expect the Packers to get a win in LA and advance to the Divisional Round.
Score: Vikings Win 27-23
In the last matchup of Wild Card Weekend, I have the Vikings getting a nail-biting win against the Buccaneers. The Vikings have been one of the best teams in football this year, while the Buccaneers have struggled to win close games. I think this trend will continue and the Vikings will narrowly escape with a game-winning touchdown drive in the last minute.
Divisional Round
Score: Ravens Win 30-27
In the first matchup of the AFC Divisional Round, I have the Ravens pulling off a massive upset against the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs. Usually, the Chiefs struggle in the regular season but ultimately get it together during playoff time. This time, I think it's going to be different. The Chiefs have been winning a lot in the regular season—almost too much. The Ravens will get off to a fast start, and the Chiefs will not be able to get back on track.
Score: Bills Win 26-19
In the last AFC Divisional Round game, I have the Bills taking down the Steelers in a game led by the defense. The first half will have very little scoring, but Josh Allen will put the Bills on his back and lead a game-winning TD drive with time expiring.
Score: Packers Win 37-34
To me, the Packers and Lions are the two best teams in the NFC. The Packers have everything you want in a contender- an elite QB, great coaching, dynamic weapons, and a stifling defense. With lots of injuries on the defensive side of the ball for the Lions, I think the Packers will go into Ford Field and take down the number 1 seed.
Score: Eagles Win 28-25
In the last matchup of the Divisional Round, I have the Eagles taking down the Vikings in a tight game. Despite the rough start to the season, the Eagles have looked phenomenal. However, the same can be said for the Vikings, who have gone on a large winning streak since their two losses. With a lack of playoff experience for Sam Darnold, I think his strong season comes to an end against a tough Philadelphia team.
Conference Championships
Score: Bills Win 27-19
In the AFC Championship, I have the Bills taking down the Ravens. Last time these two teams faced each other, the Ravens blew out the Bills, with Derrick Henry 1 yard short of 200. This time around, I believe the Bills will stifle the run, and Lamar won't have answers in the passing game. Josh Allen will be phenomenal, and the Bills will advance to the Super Bowl.
Score: Packers Win 30-20
In the NFC Championship, I have the Packers getting a strong win against the Eagles. Coming off the Divisional Round upset against the Lions, spirits will be high in Green Bay. I expect them to carry this momentum to Philadelphia and pull off the upset on the road.
Super Bowl
Buffalo Bills v Green Bay Packers
Score: Packers Win 37-36
In the Super Bowl, I have the Packers winning an offensive shootout against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills will get off to a slow start, and the Packers will capatilize. Despite the late surge from the Bills, it won't be enough and Buffalo will fall short of a Super Bowl yet again. For the Packers, this finishes their magical playoff run and Green Bay will get their first Super Bowl in the Jordan Love era.
Who do you have winning the SB?
Bills
Eagles
Chiefs
Lions
