NFL Week 1 is finally here, and here are my predictions:
In the opener, I have the Chiefs handling the Lions. I think it will be close early in the game, but the Chiefs will pull away in the 4th Quarter.
I think the Vikings will get the easy win here. The Bucs will not be good, and the Vikings should easily blow them out.
The Bengals should have a pretty easy win here. I could see an upset, but it would be very surprising. The Browns will be very dangerous later in the year, but Watson will not be great in the beginning of the season.
This one should not be a surprise. The Ravens should easily crush the Texans. Stroud will not play well and the Ravens will get the easy win.
This game could go either way, but I have the Falcons pulling it out in a close one. Bijan will score both touchdowns, and carry the Falcons to a tough win.
This is probably my biggest upset of the week. I think the Steelers will edge it out against the 49ers in a very close game. Purdy will struggle in his first game back, and the Steelers defense will take advantage of it.
In this game, I have the Commanders blowing out the Cardinals. Howell will have a great game against the horrible Cardinals defense, and Dobbs and the Cardinals offense will struggle. Don't expect this to be a close game.
In this AFC South matchup, I have the Jaguars getting the easy win against the Colts. Lawrence and Ridley will play amazing and Richardson will struggle. Expect this to a blowout.
I have the Saints getting a close win in the opener against the Titans. Carr will have a good game throwing and get a late touchdown pass to Olave for the win.
I have the Eagles absolutely dominating the Patriots in the opener. It's simple- The Patriots are not good and the Eagles are. This is an easy pick for me.
This game will be very close, but I think the Broncos will end up with the win. Jimmy G will struggle and Wilson will show some flashes of his old self. The real tone setter will be Pat Surtain and the Broncos defense.
In an offensive shootout, I have the Dolphins pulling out a close win. Tua will play great and so will Tyreek. Herbert will have a fantastic game until the last drive where he throws a game losing pick.
In a close NFC North battle, I have Jordan Love and the Packers getting the win over the Bears. Justin Fields will have a great day on the ground and in the air, but he will make some crucial mistakes in the 4th quarter.
In an interesting NFC East battle, I have the Cowboys edging out the Giants. Pollard will have a great day, and the Giants defense won't be able to stop him. The score will make the game seem closer than it was.
Finally, in a heavily anticipated AFC matchup, I have Aaron Rodgers and the Jets beating the Bills. Josh Allen clearly struggled against the Jets defense last year, and they only got better. Aaron Rodgers will start off slow, but get into his groove in the second half and complete a comeback win.
Note: For those wondering why I didn't predict the Seahawks game, I am a Seahawks fan and don't feel right predicting the games( Last year I started 0-7).
