Record Through 2 Weeks: Week 1: 10-5
Week 2: 11-4
Here are my predictions for Week 3.
On TNF, I have the 49ers downing the Giants. Jones will have a nightmare game, especially without Saquon in the backfield. Don't expect this to be close.
I have the Saints going 3-0 and defeating the Packers in a defensive battle. Love will struggle against the Saints defense, and Carr will have a late fourth quarter drive for the win.
In a game that many expect to be close, I have the Lions downing the Falcons. Let's be real- the Falcons are good but they are not great. The Lions have proved they can compete and win against tough teams, so the Falcons should be an easy win for them.
In the Dolphins-Broncos game, I have the Dolphins destroying the Broncos. Waddle will have a crazy game, and Russ and the Broncos offense won't be able to keep up. This won't be a close game.
In an AFC South matchup, I have the Jags bouncing back and beating the Texans. Stroud has looked decent so far, so this will definitely be a competitive game. But, Ridley and Lawrence will go off and beat the Texans in an OT thriller.
In a very close matchup between the Vikings and the Chargers, I have the Chargers getting their first win of the season. Herbert and the offense will click and the Vikings won't be able to stop them in the 4th.
In a game many expect to be a blowout, I have the Commanders upsetting the Bills. Howell will have a phenomenal game and Josh Allen will throw 3 interceptions. I could definitely see the Bills winning this, but I have a feeling Allen will not play well.
In a defensive shootout, I have the Browns beating the Titans. The Browns offense will struggle without Chubb, but Tannehill won't be able to do anything with the Titans offense. Garrett and the defense will force a fumble in the 4th to set up a GW FG.
I think this game will be closer than expected. Even without Richardson, Minshew will still be able to run the offense perfectly fine. Lamar will have a great day on the ground, and will lead the Ravens to a tough win against the Colts.
In a defensive shootout, I have the Jets getting the win against the Patriots. Almost everyone is picking the Pats to win this, but I don't see that happening. Mac will struggle against the Jets defense and Zach Wilson will do what is necessary to win the game.
I don't have much to explain here. The Chiefs are good and the Bears are not. This should be a walk in the park win for the Chiefs.
In an NFC matchup, I have the Cowboys destroying the Cardinals. The Cowboys defense will stifle Dobbs and the Cardinals offense, and Dak will have a field day against a weak Cardinals defense. This will be an easy win for the Cowboys.
In a close matchup between the Raiders and Steelers, I have the Pickett and the Steelers offense edging out a win against a tough Raiders team. Jimmy G will play well, but the Raiders defense will struggle.
In a heavily anticipated matchup between the Rams and the Bengals, I have the Rams getting the win. Joe Burrow is not playing, so the offense will definitely struggle. Stafford will have a great day, and the Rams will start the season 2-1.
In a close NFC matchup between the Eagles and Bucs, I have the Eagles edging out a win and handing the Bucs their first loss. Both defenses will play well, but Baker and the Bucs offense will be shut out in the 4th quarter.
